Quintain Living is creating a 7-acre public park to improve access to green space for Londoners in the Wembley Park area. The group’s £2.2 billion investment in Wembley Park includes a Build to Rent scheme that has delivered 671 new homes complete with green terraces, lawns, play areas, allotments and an incredible roof terrace.
One in five London households has no access to a garden, private or shared, reports the Office for National Statistics. Now, even walking down the street in Wembley Park has been made cooler, greener and more relaxing thanks to newly planted boulevards of trees.
The site of Wembley Park Retail will become a 7-acre park to the northeast of Wembley Stadium. A portion of the park is already available to enjoy, with outdoor exercise equipment and water features.

The Quintain development scheme also promotes high-quality pedestrian and cycle links through a comprehensive network of footpaths and cycleways, directing residents and visitors to destinations within the area and beyond.
The London Assembly is convinced of the importance of living green spaces and buildings, explaining, “Greening of London’s streets, buildings and other public spaces does more than change the look of these places. Roofs and walls covered in plants, street trees and small pocket parks in between buildings make the city a better place to live, work and invest.”
An imposing 26 story building, Canada Gardens includes apartments, social and retail space, plus parking. Urban green space characterizes Quintain’s Canada Gardens, designed and landscaped by architects PRP. These modern homes are surrounded by an acre of abundantly green private resident gardens, offering a place to relax in the heart of Wembley Park’s bustling urban setting. The top floor sky garden and residential terrace offer residents enviable views over the city, the famous Wembley arch and out to the Chiltern Hills.
“The commitment to greenery is in evidence across the whole of Wembley Park. The 7-acre park will be a wonderful addition to the local neighbourhood and outside space forms an important part of each building that we design. We’ve even ensured that the boulevards across the wider site are lined with trees, a planting strategy that Quintain has won awards for, so that residents can enjoy greenery with their morning coffee or walk to work,” said Danielle Bayless, Chief Operating Officer of Quintain Living.

The Montana and Dakota buildings boast an acre of private residential gardens, while the Alto apartments include a private mezzanine terrace with lawns and water features.
Proactive design of green social space at Canada Gardens offers residents access to hireable allotments and designer work-from-home garden sheds. Kids can enjoy a pirate ship-themed children’s play area. As the U.K. lockdown lifts, the one-acre private podium garden is ready for an outdoor party with outdoor kitchen spaces and BBQs. There’s even a pet park for those who live with their furry friends.
Canada Gardens was built for Quintain by construction company Sisk. According to Sisk, 91.7% of total construction waste from the site has been recycled.
