E-waste is one of the fastest growing waste sources in the world, and on average only 25% of household electronics are actually collected and recycled. That’s a staggering statistic – especially when you consider that for every 1 million phones that are recycled, 35,274 pounds of copper, 772 pounds of silver, 75 pounds of gold, and 33 pounds of palladium can be recovered.
