Did you know an estimated 15,000 pizza sauce cans are thrown away every day in Turin, Italy? Although that’s good news for pizza lovers, the growing amount of landfill-bound waste is bad for the environment. That’s why Italian design studio Izmade has developed a plan to collect and recycle the metal cans into Margherita, a beautiful and sustainable lamp. Each lamp would also feature a CNC-milled plywood stand that’s bonded together by renewable soybean adhesive. You can help Izmade launch their environmentally conscious and beautiful designs by supporting their Indiegogo Campaign.
